About the Role

Aquent is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to play a pivotal role within a global enterprise. This position offers the opportunity to serve as a subject matter expert, directly influencing the company’s integrity, ethical standards, and compliance posture. What You’ll Do

As a Compliance Specialist, you’ll guide and advance the company’s compliance programs by developing processes, policies, controls, and metrics that uphold the highest standards. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, influence key stakeholders, and proactively identify and mitigate risk to ensure compliance initiatives are embedded seamlessly into business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and plan requirements to drive compliance projects and processes through their full lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Validate recurring reports and analyze metrics to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and inform continuous improvement.
  • Provide program management support for compliance initiatives, guiding efforts from concept through execution.
  • Deliver actionable data analysis and present insights and recommendations clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance compliance policies and processes, developing and executing improvement plans.
  • Coordinate comprehensive risk assessments to identify key risks and prioritize compliance efforts across the organization.
  • Lead the development and delivery of in-person compliance training and communication strategies, ensuring adherence to company-wide standards.
  • Drive execution of a robust controls framework by translating legal, regulatory, self-regulatory, and internal policy requirements into practical business controls.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience conducting risk assessments and developing control frameworks.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and sustain effective relationships.
  • Experience designing and implementing new programs and processes.
  • Solid project management capabilities, including planning, execution, and resource coordination.
  • Expertise in compliance and regulatory data analysis, with a focus on insights and decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of evolving regulatory and compliance standards and industry best practices.
