Our client, a large Healthcare company is seeking a Salesforce UX/Product Designer designs intuitive solutions within Salesforce Lightning for our staffing platform, supporting sales teams who partner with doctors and hospitals to fill staffing needs. This role serves as a strategic partner to product managers and engineers, leveraging knowledge of Salesforce patterns and capabilities to solve complex workflow challenges through discovery, thoughtful questioning, and scalable design solutions.

This position reports to the Director of UX Design and Research and receives guidance from a Principal Product Designer.

Primary Job Duties

  • Partner strategically with product managers and engineers to understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints—asking clarifying questions that uncover the right problems to solve.
  • Design solutions within Salesforce Lightning that leverage native patterns, components, and capabilities to create intuitive experiences for sales teams.
  • Collaborate with UX research to conduct discovery, identify pain points, and map workflows to appropriate Salesforce functionality.
  • Create holistic experiences including information architecture, interaction design, and detailed design specifications that guide implementation.
  • Communicate the rationale behind design decisions, articulating how solutions balance user needs with Salesforce platform capabilities.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Lightning design patterns, components, and capabilities with proven experience designing within the platform.
  • Ability to think strategically about how to leverage Salesforce functionality to meet business and user goals while working effectively within platform constraints.
  • Skilled in discovery, requirements gathering, and user research methodologies, with the ability to interpret findings into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Figma, including design systems, shared files, and version control workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with Salesforce developers and administrators.
  • Strong communication skills—able to present design rationale effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Education & Experience

  • 2–5 years of related work experience as a Product or UX Designer working on Salesforce products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field (preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce, including Experience Cloud, Communities, Flow, data model, and automation tools.
  • Experience with Service Cloud or Sales Cloud.
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
  • Experience designing for complex B2B workflows and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare staffing or similar industries (preferred).

Requirements

  • 2–5 years product/UX design experience, including experience working with Salesforce products
  • Strong Salesforce Lightning pattern knowledge
  • B2B/enterprise workflow design experience
  • Figma proficiency (design systems, shared files)
  • Full-time availability (40 hours/week)
