What you’ll do:
In this dynamic, hybrid role, you will be responsible for the high-volume processing and entry of legal and medical data. Your precision will ensure that case files are accurate, up-to-date, and ready for litigation proceedings.
- Perform high-volume data entry of medical records and legal documents with a focus on 100% accuracy.
- Manage E-Filing processes to ensure all legal documentation is submitted correctly and timely.
- Utilize Case Management Systems to track file progress and organize litigation materials.
- Review and extract pertinent information from medical records, specifically relating to Personal Injury cases.
- Maintain excellent manual dexterity to use computer systems continuously throughout your shift.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure all files meet organizational and court standards.
Skills You’ll Need to Succeed:
Must-Have Professional or Technical Skills:
- Exceptional Data Entry Skills: Proven ability to maintain high speed and accuracy in a “heads-down” data environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer navigation.
- E-Filing Experience: Familiarity with electronic filing systems and digital record-keeping.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and the manual dexterity for continuous keyboarding and mouse use.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Nice-to-Have Skills (The “Flex” Skills):
- Legal/Litigation Experience: Prior experience in a law firm or legal department, specifically with Personal Injury claims.
- Medical Literacy: Ability to navigate medical records and understand healthcare terminology.
- Case Management Systems: Previous experience using software such as Clio, MyCase, or similar insurance/legal platforms.
