We are seeking a visionary designer to join our user experience team and play a pivotal role in developing the customer experience for a core internal technology solution. This desktop application is designed to empower employees through intelligent support and proactive notifications, making a tangible difference in their daily work lives. You’ll be instrumental in defining the direction of this innovative product, from concept to execution, working alongside diverse teams to bring ground-breaking ideas to life.

**What You’ll Do:**

* Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements, leveraging empirical online data, usability findings, market research, and proven user-centered design principles.
* Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in usability testing and interpreting analytics data.
* Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and senior leadership for review and feedback.
* Contribute to user interface design and development best practices and standards, elevating the overall quality of our digital products.
* Provide leadership in the area of industry trends, web application design, and user interface innovations, influencing our strategic direction.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* 3-6 years of industry experience providing interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
* Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, coupled with strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
* Proficiency with Figma.
* A strong online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions.
* Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
* A self-starter mentality, customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player.
* Ability to work effectively with highly technical teams and manage multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash.
