We are seeking a Materials Developer expert passionate about bringing cutting-edge concepts to life to join a pivotal team focused on the evolution of materials, driving innovation from concept to creation. This is a hands-on development role, not a design position, where your technical expertise will directly influence the future of our products. You will play a critical role in shaping the foundational elements of our next-generation offerings, ensuring performance, sustainability, and aesthetic excellence. Your work will directly impact product quality and innovation, collaborating across various functions to transform ideas into tangible, high-quality materials.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the development of innovative textiles and materials, focusing on technical specifications and performance characteristics.
- Collaborate seamlessly with diverse cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and manufacturing, to integrate new materials into product lines.
- Apply extensive technical knowledge of materials, encompassing yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques, to guide material selection and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Textile Science, Materials Engineering).
- Demonstrated experience in textile or material development, with a strong focus on technical application.
- Proven ability to work effectively within complex cross-functional teams.
- Comprehensive technical understanding of materials, including expertise in yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques.
- Prior experience within a leading global consumer goods or apparel brand is a nice-to-have.
