Exciting opportunity to join our leading fintech client who is looking to add a talented Creative Strategist to its in house agency team who is growing!
We are redefining the relationship people have with their credit. To do that, we need a Creative Strategist who thrives at the intersection of human psychology and hard data.
You will be the analytical engine of our internal creative agency. Your mission is to take complex performance data and transform it into high-impact creative strategies that drive card applications, card activations, and long-term customer loyalty. You aren’t just looking for “what looks good”—you are looking for what moves the needle.
What You’ll Do:
- Creative Analysis: Regularly audit campaign performance across all digital channels. You’ll identify why specific visual hooks or messaging angles are resonating and, more importantly, why others aren’t.
- The Bridge: Act as the primary liaison between our Growth Marketing and Creative Production teams. You will translate spreadsheet-heavy performance reports into inspiring, actionable creative briefs.
- Testing Strategy: Build and oversee a continuous “test and learn” roadmap. You’ll design experiments to optimize everything from top-of-funnel video hooks to the messaging in our card-carrier welcome kits.
- Market & Cultural Intelligence: Stay ahead of fintech trends and social media shifts. You’ll identify emerging formats and consumer sentiment shifts to ensure our brand remains relevant in a competitive credit landscape.
- Lifecycle Strategy: Go beyond the “click.” Analyze the full customer journey—from the initial ad to the credit application and the first transaction—ensuring a seamless and high-converting narrative throughout.
Who You Are:
- Analytical & Curious: You love digging into the “why.” You don’t take data at face value; you look for patterns in consumer behavior that lead to breakthrough creative insights.
- A Financial Storyteller: You have a knack for making “dry” financial topics (like interest rates, credit scores, or rewards points) feel accessible, exciting, and urgent.
- Systematic Thinker: You prefer a repeatable process over one-off “genius ideas.” You believe in building creative systems that can scale as the company grows.
- Collaborative Leader: You can sit in a room with a Data Scientist and a Motion Designer and speak both of their languages fluently.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 4+ years in a strategy role within a high-growth brand, performance agency, or fintech environment.
- Performance Expertise: A deep understanding of digital marketing metrics (Conversion Rates, CPA, LTV) and how creative variables influence them.
- Strategic Writing: Proven ability to write briefs that are both strategically sound and creatively liberating.
- Financial Literacy Preferred: An understanding of the credit card industry or a strong desire to master the nuances of regulated financial products.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $75.00 to $80.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
