We currently have a very exciting opportunity available for a Recruiter Generalist.   This is a virtual position that will begin as a 3-month contract with the potential to extend on a quarterly basis, up to 18 months.
As a Recruiter you will support our Recruiting and Talent Sourcing capacity. To be successful in this role you need to understand the recruiting lifecycle in a large organization and be able to execute quickly while keeping quality and experience in the forefront to achieve business hiring objectives. This role varies in scope and could provide support to a myriad of teams within the Microsoft Global Talent Acquisition organization.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment process for all Microsoft FTE roles open across Azure data, security, MAI, commercial/Sales, Marketing lines of business.  This consists of sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers or rejecting candidates, and onboarding.
• Relationship building skills – Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
• Candidate Engagement and pipelining skills – Contacting applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection and keeping candidates warm and available for upcoming roles 
Required Qualifications: 
• 5-7 years of talent acquisition experience, in a sourcing or recruiting capacity
o OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field
• Have a good understanding of talent markets and candidate profiles and is able to develop a strategy to achieve hiring objectives with tight deadlines.
– MUST have the understand and ability to handle high volume or ability to manage a full req load consistently.
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work-related activities.
• Boolean Search String knowledge.  Able to conduct x-ray Boolean search string across multiple platforms to find talent.
• Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection and training.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Adaptive to process changes
