In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the procurement landscape, ensuring that critical resources are acquired efficiently and effectively. You’ll contribute to key initiatives by optimizing supplier relationships, streamlining purchasing workflows, and ensuring contractual compliance, ultimately empowering various teams to achieve their goals and advance the company’s mission.
**Key Contributions & Responsibilities:**
* Strategically review and optimize supplier portfolios based on comprehensive factors including price, quality, service, and availability.
* Manage the end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle, including accurate submission, thorough review, approval, and proactive resolution of any execution challenges.
* Lead the negotiation, renegotiation, and administration of contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to address and resolve issues related to goods or services, driving corrective actions.
* Evaluate and monitor contract performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure adherence and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Provide essential support to various teams, including engineering, guiding them through procurement processes and ensuring their needs are met.
* Drive year-end planning activities for hardware and services, ensuring budget securance and timely execution.
* Develop and implement new processes for business continuity, enhancing operational resilience and efficiency.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership teams, providing updates and guidance on procurement strategies and vendor execution changes.
**Qualifications:**
**Must-Have:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related business field.
* 8-10 years of finance-related experience, with a strong focus on procurement.
**Nice-to-Have:**
* Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to create, analyze, and interpret financial and procurement reports, price proposals, and technical data.
* Extensive experience in reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs) and various contract types.
* Solid understanding of applicable laws and regulations governing purchasing.
* Familiarity with established procurement policies and widely used procurement tools.
* Proficiency in standard office productivity tools, data visualization software, and advanced spreadsheet applications.
