Position Overview

The Marketing Associate – Planning will support the Sample Strategy and Operations team by managing the strategy and execution of sampling logistics to ensure accurate and on-time sample ordering and receiving. This role owns and manages SKU creation, purchase order (PO) creation, and order tracking for sampling initiatives across stores, dotcom, and sample bags. The position operates in a fast-paced environment and requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of allocation and PO prioritization strategies based on business needs, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and Distribution Centers (DCs) to ensure optimal product flow and minimize DC workload.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve and optimize sampling and allocation processes.
  • Facilitate allocation reporting for Canada, ensuring compliance with product and brand restrictions while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Track and report on purchase orders to ensure inbound DC inventory aligns with business timelines; maintain and update internal tracking tools.
  • Proactively communicate and escalate risks related to late inventory, key launches, and priority sampling initiatives to internal teams and cross-functional leadership.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables for sample bags in partnership with third-party contractors, ensuring timely completion of SKUs, POs, and related documentation.
  • Support additional department initiatives and projects as business needs evolve.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, account management, supply chain, or logistics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment
