This is an incredible opportunity for a **Technical Narrative Designer** to shape the very fabric of compelling stories and gameplay. You will be instrumental in ideating, prototyping, implementing, and polishing innovative story-based experiences, directly influencing how players connect with and explore rich narrative landscapes. Your contributions will be pivotal in executing captivating game stories and developing dynamic narrative systems across both campaign and multiplayer modes, ensuring a seamless and engaging blend of storytelling and interactive play. **What you’ll do:** * Ideate, prototype, implement, and polish innovative story-based experiences. * Contribute significantly to the execution of a game’s overarching story. * Develop robust narrative systems for both campaign and multiplayer modes. * Collaborate closely with a diverse team of designers, developers, and artists to ensure the seamless integration of story and gameplay elements. **What you’ll bring:** **Must-Have Qualifications:** * A degree in Art, Game Design, or a related field, coupled with 3+ years of relevant internship or work experience in areas such as game development and design, systems design, or content production. * Alternatively, equivalent practical experience will be considered. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Experience shipping at least one title in a technical design capacity (e.g., narrative, mission design, gameplay design). * Proficient experience with an industry-standard game engine and a strong understanding of visual scripting. * Comfort with rapid prototyping to effectively test the feasibility of new gameplay features and tools. * A conscientious knowledge of industry trends in interactive storytelling, coupled with a genuine interest in creatively advancing the medium. **Compensation:** The target hiring compensation for this role is up to $74/hour. **About Aquent Talent:** Aquent Talent connects the best talent in marketing, creative, and design with the world’s biggest brands.
