Are you ready to drive impactful change within a dynamic financial services environment? Aquent is partnering with a leading organization at the forefront of financial innovation, seeking a talented individual to play a pivotal role in optimizing product and technology operations. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your strategic vision and hands-on expertise to streamline critical processes, enhance product delivery, and ensure seamless collaboration across technical and business domains, directly contributing to the success of key initiatives and the satisfaction of our clients.
**What You’ll Do:**
As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between product vision and technical execution, ensuring that strategic objectives are met with efficiency and precision. Your work will directly influence the development and release of critical solutions, impacting both internal teams and external clients.
* Serve as the primary liaison for product and technology partners, meticulously documenting resource demands and cross-domain dependencies, while aligning with program roadmaps and prioritization efforts.
* Proactively manage the readiness backlog for product increment cycles, facilitating intake, triage, and commitment tracking to maintain consistent delivery cadences and strategic focus, in harmony with workforce planning.
* Orchestrate the logistics of internal release processes, highlighting outstanding product deliverables, managing carryover commitments, and identifying high-impact releases for both internal stakeholders and clients, including communication needs.
* Oversee the intake backlog, ensuring timely assignment, clear understanding of time commitments, and identification of key drivers. Collaborate with product and technology leadership on tactical prioritization.
* Coordinate and follow up on complex, time-sensitive defects and warranty issues across teams and large programs, focusing on critical project blockers and assessing their impact on clients and internal teams.
* Develop and communicate comprehensive roll-up reports on key metrics related to project pipelines and priority items.
* Track the production release status of all committed work across development cycles.
* Maintain essential product documentation.
* Support the rollout of new domain capabilities within the product development lifecycle.
* Identify and assemble opportunities for tactical improvements.
* Provide thought leadership on demand management and insights for process optimization.
* Facilitate and drive issue resolution and retrospective discussions among stakeholders.
* Develop a deep understanding of both business and technical dependencies within and between systems that support or may be impacted by core operational functionality, encompassing both upstream and downstream processes.
* Document current platform systems and conceptualize future system solutions and workflows.
* Assist in managing complex, high-profile projects that span multiple domains, systems, and stakeholders.
* Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks.
**What You’ll Bring:**
We are looking for a highly analytical and collaborative individual with a proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Strong critical thinking skills.
* Proven ability to build strong partnerships and trust with diverse stakeholders.
* A strategic mindset to contribute to product management decisions, governance, and long-term vision.
* Expertise in risk and issues management, particularly for domain-level risks and interdependencies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly analyze data, extract key insights, and apply them to business challenges using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
* Confidence in presenting both strategic and tactical visions to teams and management for both long-term planning and daily project management.
* A clear understanding of cross-functional dependencies and their impact on project execution.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
* Strong product and project management skills, including sound business judgment, the ability to balance resource needs, evaluate and address risks, and clearly articulate trade-off decisions.
* A strong client orientation, including the ability to understand needs and apply this knowledge to product enhancements, user experience, and communication content (internal and external).
* Ability to analyze and effectively communicate technology recommendations to business stakeholders.
* 5-10 years of experience managing requirements for multiple large, complex, and cross-functional projects, with an emphasis on systems, technologies, business process redesign, and technical environments.
* Proven ability to write comprehensive business requirements, including user stories, use case development, and workflow documentation.
* High attention to detail and the ability to see initiatives through from concept to implementation.
* Competence in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* 7-10 years of experience in software development methodologies, particularly Agile Frameworks.
