**About the Role**
We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of advanced systems, focusing on secure application integration and batch processing. You will apply your deep technical knowledge to build custom solutions, manage critical security protocols, and ensure the stability and performance of our applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with various internal teams, providing expert consultations and driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and implement custom job types for JSON-based REST API integrations using enterprise batch scheduling tools.
* Architect, develop, and deploy enterprise applications using the .NET framework (version 9.0) integrated with batch scheduling systems.
* Administer encryption protocols and SSL/TLS certificate management.
* Provide security consulting services to internal application teams regarding batch processing operations.
* Conduct comprehensive troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis for application-related incidents.
**Must-Have Qualifications**
* **Experience:** 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering or a related technical role.
* **Programming Languages:** Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework (version 8.0 or higher).
* **Data Protection:** Strong understanding of data protection mechanisms including TLS, AES encryption, and HMAC authentication.
* **DevOps:** Experience with DevOps practices utilizing Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
* **Database:** Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (version 2022).
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**
* **Scripting:** Scripting experience with Perl and Python.
* **Databases:** Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Oracle database systems.
* **Integration:** Experience with enterprise-level batch job scheduling and application integration platforms (version 9 or higher).
