The content copywriter creates accurate, engaging, and high-quality copy on behalf of hospitality properties. This includes crafting compelling titles, descriptions, and web content that reflect each property’s unique voice and guest experience.

The writer will review and refine any existing copy on a hotel’s website, incorporating Client feedback to ensure the content is clear, consistent, and aligned with brand standards. Updated copy will be entered into the Content Intake Form (CIF) or other content repositories as needed by the Client, where it will populate designated sections of the hotel’s website. All work will be documented in the CIF or other MDS content repository.

This is a detailed and thoughtful writing project that requires strong storytelling ability, critical thinking skills, and a high level of attention to detail.   • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to decipher web content and apply a set of guidelines to judge what content to include
  • Ability to QA and audit self work and the work of others
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship-building skills 
  • Accurately vet, rewrite, and implement content
  • Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and aligned with brand voice and guidelines
  • Self-manage an assigned list of work
  • Quality-control your own and peer content including content, links, and imagery
  • Attend stand-ups to report on progress and roadblocks (as identified)
  • Comfortable researching and working with peers to find solutions for unforeseen obstacles
  • Proficient with MS Office tools and Google Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software tools and applications quickly
  • Comfortable with self-managed, independent work requiring limited oversight
  • Collaborative, team-oriented personality with a strong sense of initiative
  • Ability to own work from concept to completion and take accountability for results
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills

The target hiring compensation for this role is $38/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. 

Additional benefits offered may include: medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match (if applicable).
