We’re looking for a creative, fast-moving Motion Graphic Designer to join our client’s creative team and help bring their brand to life across digital channels. In this part-time, consultant role, you’ll work on high-volume, short-form ad content — creating motion graphics and videos that engage shoppers and elevate our online presence.
This is a hands-on production and animation role, ideal for a designer who thrives on tight turnarounds, loves crafting motion for retail or promotional campaigns, and can balance creativity with efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Design and animate motion graphics and short videos for online ads, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Work from existing brand assets (photography, logos, layouts, copy) to create high-quality, on-brand motion content.
- Collaborate with other designers and marketing partners to bring creative concepts to life.
- Support weekly online advertising (OLA) production — creating anywhere from 30–120 static and animated deliverables depending on campaign volume.
- Edit short video content in Adobe Premiere Pro, adding transitions, titles, and effects.
- Maintain visual consistency and brand standards across all animated and static materials.
- Manage multiple priorities, meeting daily 4pm ET deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Participate in a brief daily stand-up (9:15–9:45am ET) to review priorities and align with the team.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of professional design experience, including at least 2 years focused on motion graphics or animation for marketing, advertising, or social media.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially:
- –After Effects (animation, motion graphics)
- –Premiere Pro (video editing)
- –Photoshop & Illustrator (asset prep and design)
- A portfolio of short-form motion work (ads, social content, promotional videos) that demonstrates storytelling, pacing, and attention to brand.
- Experience working in retail, e-commerce, or high-volume creative production environments.
- Strong eye for typography, color, and composition.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Figma or Adobe XD
- Familiarity with AI design tools or creative automation
- Exposure to 3D animation tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D)
- Bilingual in English/French
