We are seeking a Software Asset Manager for a 7-month on-site engagement in Atlanta, GA. Experience with ServiceNow and Flexera is preferred. You will be instrumental in ensuring the effective and compliant management of software assets across the organization. Your contributions will directly support strategic decision-making and optimize financial outlays related to technology. You will collaborate cross-functionally with finance, procurement, legal, and vendor management teams, contributing to a cohesive and efficient operational framework.
Responsibilities
* Developing effective license positions for complex publishers.
* Completing critical renewals for complex publishers.
* Engaging in hands-on asset management activities.
* Contributing to IT procurement processes.
* Ensuring compliance with software licensing and contracting agreements.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in software asset management.
* Demonstrated IT procurement experience.
* Extensive hands-on asset management experience.
* Proven expertise in software licensing and contracting.
* Experience utilizing industry-standard asset management platforms.
* Experience utilizing enterprise service management platforms.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work effectively and independently.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required).
* Certification in Software Asset Management (CSAM).
* Experience with the Software Asset Management module within enterprise service management platforms.
