We are seeking a meticulous and passionate professional to join our client’s Copyright Administration team. In this critical role, you will become a subject-matter expert, ensuring the accurate and efficient administration of a vast music publishing catalog. Your expertise will be instrumental in protecting intellectual property and facilitating the seamless use of music across various media, including film and television. You will directly contribute to the integrity and commercial success of an iconic musical legacy, ensuring its continued presence and influence across global platforms.

As a key member of the Copyright Administration team, you will manage essential day-to-day publishing administration tasks, collaborating with various internal departments to ensure precise rights management and documentation. Your analytical skills will be crucial in setting up and maintaining the company’s works within its royalty system, and you will be the go-to resource for copyright inquiries. This role offers the chance to dive deep into the intricacies of music publishing, directly impacting the financial health and creative reach of a beloved catalog.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform comprehensive song catalog administration and maintenance tasks.
* Collaborate with legal, finance, and creative teams to secure and process rights agreements and related documentation.
* Research and analyze agreements and documentation to ensure accurate setup and administration of company works within the publishing royalty system.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for copyright inquiries from internal and external business partners.
* Support the Copyright Administration and Accounting teams in quarterly suspense clearing processes.
* Undertake ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed to support the team’s objectives.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in music publishing.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of music publishing administration processes.
* Basic proficiency with music publishing systems.
* Familiarity with copyright protocols, performing/mechanical rights, intellectual property rights, and fundamental royalty accounting procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive, resourceful, and flexible approach with a positive attitude.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.
* Exceptional attention to detail.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Familiarity with film and television music cue sheets.
