You will lead the strategy for advancing customer relationships, solution adoption, and deal progression by fostering synergies between customer programs and crafting strategic engagement plans for our most strategic customers. You will build crucial relationships across Go-to-Market, Customer Experience, and Product teams, developing cross-functional, cohesive customer engagement strategies, often leading multiple programs simultaneously. Your deep understanding of the business’s strategic offerings and extensive program management experience will ensure seamless alignment with strategic objectives and flawless customer engagement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Strategic Program Leadership:** Drive and review program goals and prioritization, translating stakeholder needs into actionable program goals and prioritized deliverables. Own the definition of program roadmaps and work streams, making critical decisions on goal and deliverable prioritization.
* **Stakeholder Engagement & Management:** Manage expectations and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to build rapport and credibility. Plan, create, and deliver compelling content, providing input to help stakeholders achieve project goals.
* **Process Optimization & Governance:** Establish and track processes in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring accountability and adherence to established guidelines. Identify opportunities for and implement process improvements, including automation, to enhance efficiency.
* **Roadmap Development & Communication:** Drive the development of project and program roadmaps, utilizing them to manage stakeholder expectations, communicate plans, and coordinate resources effectively.
* **Strategic Communication:** Deliver effective, strategic communications tailored to diverse stakeholder groups and audiences to share information and solicit necessary input.
* **Cross-functional Partnership:** Foster strategic partnerships between project teams and stakeholders across various functions.
* **Risk Management:** Drive identification and cross-functional risk assessment activities, continuously monitoring risk evolution and its influence on project and program objectives.
* **Documentation & Accountability:** Develop and/or oversee the creation of documentation that defines solution scope, design, task-level deliverables, milestones, and management processes to ensure stakeholder accountability.
* **Performance Measurement:** Develop or refine Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) across multiple programs, owning progress reporting to organizational and executive leadership.
* **Data-Driven Insights:** Drive the development of interpretable insights from deep dives and data analysis, providing data-driven strategic recommendations that encompass business, product, and technical perspectives to cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
* **Strategic Program Development:** Develop and drive strategic programs, acting as an authority in the domain to guide leadership in making decisions for complex problems with evolving solutions, advancing product and program excellence.
* **Metric Establishment & Impact:** Drive the establishment of key program metrics based on technical or program needs. Manage cross-functional teams and drive action to ensure program success, developing and implementing corrective actions for organizational challenges. Identify, collect, and track key metrics for program/project impact, leveraging data to drive results.
* **Expert Collaboration:** Identify cross-functional product and service experts, developing positive working relationships and leveraging their expertise to support or drive efforts for improvement. Identify dependencies and make decisions to solve or avoid issues and mitigate risks, contributing to product/program excellence.
* **Continuous Improvement:** Drive post-program implementation, cross-functional feedback collection, ensure documentation is current, and facilitate discussions for follow-up with stakeholders, proposing and implementing changes for continuous improvement.
* **Vision & Objectives:** Establish and/or drive program vision and objectives, ensuring they are met or exceeded. Present program vision and secure buy-in from executive sponsors and cross-functional stakeholders.
* **Collaborative Goal Setting:** Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders to understand work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss cross-functional program impact.
* **Strategic Account Management:** Develop tailored executive engagement plans for a portfolio of assigned accounts, mapping bespoke experiences to inform and accelerate customer business ambitions and strategic partnerships.
* **Customer Strategic Priorities:** Research customer accounts, industry/market data, and evaluate customer sentiment to gain insights for developing engagement plans that drive mutual value for customers and account teams.
* **Experience Activation:** Identify and activate customer experience offerings that align with customer expectations and support them through their transformation journeys.
* **Bespoke Engagements:** Lead the planning and delivery of customized customer engagements.
* **Executive Engagement:** Activate engagement at strategic executive engagement initiatives to drive interaction with key executives.
* **Tangible Outcomes:** Support in influencing tangible commercial opportunities (e.g., innovative proofs-of-concept) and revenue growth by leveraging customer experience offerings.
**Required Qualifications:**
* 6 years of experience in program management, client services, or management consulting.
* Experience delivering enterprise digital transformation projects to customers (e.g., complex digital transformations across data and analytics, application development, or security solutions).
* Experience working with senior stakeholders and overseeing customer-facing materials.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage without authority.
* Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base.
* Knowledge of enterprise go-to-market strategies and sales methods, and experience collaborating with sales, senior leaders, and marketing to drive tangible customer business outcomes.
* Understanding of the broader technology solutions landscape and the differentiators of various offerings.

Client Description
As a Business Program Manager, you own designated areas of your program and set and communicate program priorities for one large or several small to mid-sized projects. You generate the ideas required to solve problems, even if the problem is ambiguous, and take full ownership of the solution. You are skilled at opportunity identification, have strong knowledge of the industry in which you work, and run meetings effectively in order to ensure that your projects run efficiently. You track progress and priorities within your program(s) ensuring your program(s) stay on track to meet goals. Responsibilities include:
– Drive and review program goals and prioritization, translate stakeholder needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables, own the definition of program roadmap and work streams, and drive decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
– Drive project work by managing expectations and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to build rapport and credibility, plan, create, deliver content, and provide input to help stakeholders achieve project goals.
– Establish and track process in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, hold stakeholders/own teams accountable for following the established processes, identify sponsors and stakeholders and secures resources, ensure work alignment with compliance/privacy policies, identify opportunities for and implement process improvements (e.g., automating the process), support or promote the adoption of processes.
– Drive the development of project/program roadmaps and use them to manage stakeholder expectations, as well as for communicating plans and coordinating resources.

Role Overview:
You will lead the strategy aligned to advancing customer relationships, cloud consumption and deal progression by driving synergies between customer programs and creating strategic customer engagement plans for a set of our most strategic customers. You will build relationships with key stakeholders across Go-to-Market, Customer experience and the Product Areas, and create cross-functional, cohesive customer engagement strategies, oen leading multiple programs simultaneously. Through deep understanding of the Google Cloud business, customer program offerings and program management experience, you will enable seamless alignment with strategic objectives and flawless customer engagement.

– Strategic Account Management: Develop tailored CxO engagement plans for a portfolio of assigned accounts, mapping bespoke experiences to inform and accelerate customer business ambitions and strategic partnerships
– Customer Strategic Priorities: Research customer accounts, industry / market data and evaluate customer sentiment to gain the insights necessary for developing an engagement plan that drives mutual value for our customers and account teams
– Experience Activation: Identify and activate on customer experience offerings that align to our customer’s expectations and support them through their transformation journeys

Mandatory Skills or Qualifications / Minimum role qualifications requirement:
– 6 years of experience in program management, client services or management consulting.
– Experience delivering enterprise digital transformation projects to customers. (e.g. cloud migrations or multi-cloud transformations across data warehousing and analytics, application development, or cybersecurity solutions)
– Experience working with senior stakeholders and overseeing customer-facing materials
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage without authority
