As the Web Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing web performance data to uncover insights that improve user experience, drive engagement, and increase conversion rates. You will work closely with UX designers, visual designers and developers to inform decision-making based on analytics and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytics: Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, and other web analytics platforms.
- Audience Journeys: Segment user behaviors based on audience types, geographies, and user journeys to support targeted website updates and personalization efforts.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Identify optimization opportunities and recommend UX or content changes to improve engagement and conversion rates based on analytics insights including customer journeys and key metrics.
- Story Telling: Beyond reporting, be able to tell a story of what the data is telling and how the client can make informed decisions based on that information.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports that highlight key metrics and trends related to user behavior, traffic sources, and conversion funnels.
- Tracking: Define and implement tracking requirements for new site features and campaigns, working with developers to ensure accurate data collection.
- A/B testing: Support A/B and multivariate testing strategies; provide analysis of experimentation results and validate statistically significant outcomes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the effectiveness of digital campaigns and initiatives.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Is seasoned in an agency environment. Experience working in a fast-past environment providing various levels of detailed reporting based on the client need.
- Is highly proficient in web analytics. Proficiency with web analytics tools, A/B testing platforms, and CRO software. Proven experience in conversion rate optimization, web analyst or similar role.
- Can see the complete picture. Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices. Familiarity with content strategy and SEO principles and practices.
- Is a confident story-teller. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Must be able to tell a story with data, not just read out the facts. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and presenting to clients.
- Is a creative problem-solver. Creative problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset. We’re looking for how we can, not what we can’t.
