As a National Security Policy & Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of national security by fostering relationships with key government agencies and their private-sector partners. Your expertise will guide the adoption of cutting-edge technology, impacting national defense strategies and strengthening partnerships within the defense and intelligence communities.
This role offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between technology and policy, working directly with the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and industry leaders. You will be a key advisor, shaping policy positions and guiding product development to meet the evolving needs of national security.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and expand relationships with stakeholders in the defense and national security sectors, including government agencies, private-sector partners, and relevant associations.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret defense and national security policies and their impact on the company.
- Articulate policy positions through internal presentations, briefings, and formal documents.
- Provide expert guidance to internal teams on defense and national security matters, influencing product development, service offerings, and policy decisions.
- Represent the company in meetings with government representatives and other key stakeholders.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years within the Federal Executive Branch.
- Demonstrated expertise in defense/national security and emerging technology issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in national security, policy, technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Active U.S. government security clearance.
- Prior experience working within the Department of Defense.
- Experience in public sector enablement and/or acquisitions.
- In-house policy or public sector enablement experience at a technology or defense company.
- Advanced degree in a policy or technology-related field.
