Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Payer Enrollment Coordinator in Cumberland, RI!

This position is 100% on-site.  For this reason, we will only consider candidates who can comfortably commute to our client’s location in Cumberland, RI. 

In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis.  C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position.

As a Payer Enrollment Coordinator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payer enrollment applications, ensuring healthcare providers can deliver vital services. You will be a key player in maintaining compliance, resolving claims issues, and identifying trends to optimize processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical function within a dynamic healthcare environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process initial and revalidation applications for healthcare providers.
  • Manage government payer enrollment, specifically Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Handle documentation and workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Resolve claims issues with individual payers within the corporate billing system.
  • Research, complete, and maintain compliance with government payer requirements.
  • Contact providers to obtain necessary information for revalidation.
  • Identify and quantify trends and issues, communicating them to management.
  • Minimize denials and deactivation of government applications.
  • Update credentialing and billing systems with provider information.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience with government payers (Medicare/Medicaid).
  • Experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $21.68 to $24.09 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
