Our client is a global leader in kitchen and bath products, renowned for our commitment to quality, innovative design, and a legacy of luxury. We’re seeking a talented and passionate Copywriter to join their global marketing team, crafting compelling content that embodies our brand’s sophisticated voice. This role is a fantastic part-time opportunity for a creative writer to influence how customers see and interact with our world-class products.
Responsibilities
- Create Engaging Content: Write and edit original, on-brand copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including websites, catalogs, emails, social media, print ads, and product descriptions.
- Maintain Brand Voice: Ensure all content consistently reflects Kohler’s luxurious and inspiring brand voice across all platforms.
- Collaborate with Creative Teams: Partner with designers, art directors, and other creative professionals from concept development to final deliverable.
- Translate Complex Information: Transform creative briefs and technical product details into persuasive, clear, and easy-to-understand copy for a diverse audience, including consumers and B2B customers like designers and architects.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep current on industry trends, copywriting best practices, and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.
- Conduct Research: Independently research and consult with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all copy.
- Manage Projects: Successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in a copywriting role, preferably within an advertising agency or for a luxury brand. Experience in the home goods, kitchen, or bath industry is a significant advantage.
- Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting samples across various media and demonstrating a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and a basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Personal Attributes: Exceptional writing and editing skills, strong organizational abilities, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for great design.
This is a part-time opportunity (approximately 20 hours / week) and can be 100% remote. US candiates only.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $33-43 / hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
