As a key member of their design team, you’ll be at the forefront of creating intuitive and engaging experiences that will transform how users interact with their financial world.
As an Interaction Designer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, agile team, collaborating with designers, researchers, and product managers to bring innovative digital products to life. You will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience, from initial concept to final implementation. Your expertise in interaction design will help create seamless and enjoyable experiences that empower users and enhance their financial well-being. What You’ll Do:

• Develop interaction design strategies based on user research, data analysis, and best practices.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts to effectively communicate design concepts and specifications.
• Facilitate design critiques and usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and alignment with business goals.
• Conduct competitive audits and research industry trends to stay ahead of the curve in interaction design.
• Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for accessibility and inclusivity.

Must-Haves:

• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing usable interfaces across multiple channels and platforms.
• Experience in an applied research setting, including integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
• Proven ability to articulate design strategy, rationale, and logic, describing benefits and highlighting risks associated with design decisions.
• Demonstrated expertise with design, prototyping, and research tools such as Figma, Mural, and UserTesting.com.

Nice-to-Haves:

• MA/MS degree or certification in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase.
• Appreciation for the potential of “design thinking.”
• Experience working within a large organization and within an agile environment.
