Dive into the world of finance as a Business Analyst with a leading financial services firm, partnering with Aquent Talent. As a Business Analyst, you will:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and business partners to gather requirements and document use cases and business capabilities.
• Decipher existing SQL processes, translating their functionality into easy-to-understand documentation.
• Develop, review, and maintain technical documents that clearly explain existing data processes.
• Research and document new or changing functionality, consolidating technical and product information from various sources.
• Utilize SQL to profile source data, pinpoint data quality issues, and trace data flow through SQL processes.
• Generate requirements documents based on existing templates and SQL functionality.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a comparable Business Analyst role.
• Proven ability to read and write SQL, with a knack for translating technical SQL into clear, concise language.
• Exceptional writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, a curious mindset, a self-sufficient work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Strong technical aptitude, excellent time management and prioritization skills, and a talent for critical thinking.
• Experience in data profiling.
• Experience working with Google Big Query.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business-friendly language.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems with limited information and ambiguous problem definitions.
• Self-motivated, analytical, organized, and deadline-driven.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience within the Banking or Brokerage services industry.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts.
