Become a key financial partner to a leading consumer goods company, working closely with sales leadership to drive revenue growth and optimize trade spend. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in shaping commercial strategies, providing crucial financial insights, and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading monthly trade reviews with sales teams, ensuring compliance with audit controls, and managing monthly trade accrual accounting entries.
  • Analyzing monthly financial results and projections, identifying risks and opportunities, and communicating insights to business partners and finance management.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate event creation and adherence to audit requirements.
  • Contributing to the Annual Business Plan and monthly forecasts, providing valuable financial input.
  • Supporting the development of product and customer P&Ls, analyzing variances, and identifying opportunities to optimize sales and gross margin.
  • Supporting tools and processes designed to improve return on investment related to deflator investments.
  • Approving promotional activity, preparing adjusting entries, and reconciling accrual accounts.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of financial analytical experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with planning software and ERP systems
  • CPG industry experience
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA certifications

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47.25 to $52.50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
