This is a US-based remote, part time (20 hours a week) position. It will start as a 3 month engagement and could extend up to 18 months.

As a part-time Privacy Manager embedded within a dynamic privacy team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring privacy compliance and supporting critical projects. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global environment.
About the Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to dive into the world of privacy within a leading technology company. You will play a key role in supporting workload management by focusing on routine privacy reviews. This position involves collaborating with various business teams, providing essential privacy guidance, and contributing to the overall success of privacy initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and reviews.
- Support privacy-by-design initiatives and risk mitigation.
- Maintain documentation and assist with privacy inquiries.
- Review privacy submissions and provide constructive feedback.
- Connect with stakeholders to clarify details and ensure successful submissions.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in privacy, compliance, or related fields and have fundamental privacy knowledge and education.
- 1+ years of experienc ein consulting background (there is a lot of stakeholder management – be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholdser in an ad hoc capacity).
- 2+ years of experience with Privacy reviews.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- IAPP privacy certification (such as CIPP).
- Legal background.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $43 to $48 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
