IAM Analyst
Make a significant impact on a leading financial institution as an IAM Analyst. As an IAM Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of identity and access controls and procedures. You will manage user access, roles, groups, permissions, access reviews, and attestations, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and information security policies. Your work will directly impact the organization’s ability to protect its valuable assets and maintain the trust of its customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute and validate periodic User Access Reviews (UAR), Groups and Permissions reviews, and Role Based Access Reviews (RBAC).
- Manage and conduct periodic lookback assessments for critical applications.
- Configure and monitor access reviews within the IAM platform.
- Manage user accounts, access groups, roles, and entitlements.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests.
- Design, implement, and maintain IAM access review processes.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Audit, Risk, and business units to maintain regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, FFIEC, GLBA, PCI-DSS).
- Define, develop, and document new user roles and permissions in collaboration with system/application owners.
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in IAM roles, preferably in financial services.
- 2+ years of experience executing and validating user access reviews.
- 2+ years of experience with IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint IIQ or ISC).
- 2+ years of experience working with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, FFIEC, ISO 27001/2, FISMA, NIST).
- Understanding of information security policies, standards, and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multifactor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Minimum 2-year college degree.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field.
- Professional security management certification (e.g., CISM, CISA).
- Proficiency with Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and cloud IAM.
- Proficiency with ITSM platforms (e.g., Jira, Avanti, ServiceNow).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $34.68 to $38.54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
