Join a mission-driven organization dedicated to remembrance, scholarship, and education as an IT Project Manager! 

  • Hours: variable hours based on workload. Roughly 20-40 hours per week
  • Duration: 12 months with the potential to extend 4 additional years
  • Location: Remote, must be able to keep East Coast business hours

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the CIO
  • Lead and facilitate all core Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate high-level business goals and user needs into actionable product backlogs.
  • Refine and prioritize backlog items, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and technical feasibility.
  • Effectively plan, coordinate, and execute project activities, managing resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive problem-solving.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Experience working in a non-profit or cultural institution.
Familiarity with project management tools and software.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $45-$48 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
