As a Loan Operations Associate, you will:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to loan servicing within established service level agreements.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all loan servicing activities.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including compliance with the Bank’s BSA/AML Policy and Procedures.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, contributing to process improvements and enhanced efficiency.
- Perform basic account maintenance and customer transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Process loan payoffs, provide payoff letters, loan verifications, and letters of guaranty.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail related to loan servicing.
- Process loan file intake activities and prepare files for offsite storage.
- Process basic collateral perfection documentation.
- Participate in assigned projects and contribute to team goals.
- Identify and escalate risks through appropriate channels.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in operations or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing procedures and systems.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Banking, accounting, or finance experience.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28.73 to $31.93 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
