As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions, collaborating with various teams, and contributing to the smooth operation of this dynamic company. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will:

  • Electronically process a high volume of accounts payable transactions (75-100/day) using a 3-way matching system.
  • Manage assigned activities within the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing using various platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with buyers, vendors, and business partners to resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries, including vendor statement reconciliation and procurement issues.
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve shared services processes.
  • Participate in special projects impacting the shared services environment and overall business goals.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of accounts payable experience
  • High school diploma (College degree preferred)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP experience highly preferred)
  • Willingness to work overtime during peak periods and month-end close
  • Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, statement reconciliation)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of invoices, credits, purchase orders, and GRIR reconciliation
  • Ability to perform three-way match

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Consumer products background
  • Experience with document imaging systems

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $21.80 to $24.23 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
