Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is often preferred, providing a strong foundation in marketing principles, communication strategies, and content creation.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Channel Strategist role.
- Demonstrated experience in social media management, content creation, or related marketing roles is crucial for understanding platform nuances and crafting engaging content.
Core Skills
- Social Media and Content Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of various social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.), including their algorithms, best practices, and content formats.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive social media and content strategies aligned with business goals, spanning global channel best practices and content/channel analysis.
- Data Analysis and Performance Measurement: Strong analytical skills to track and interpret social media KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and benchmarks, including engagement rates, reach, conversions, and ROI. Experience with social media analytics tools like Hootsuite Analytics and Google Analytics is essential.
- Content Creation and Optimization: Demonstrated ability to create and curate engaging content, potentially including visual content, and to optimize it for various platforms and audiences.
- Social Platform Partnership and Relationship Management: Experience in identifying, nurturing, and managing relationships with content creators and brand ambassadors, including program development and tracking performance.
- Ad-Hoc Social Reporting: Ability to generate and present reports on social media performance and conversations.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for content creation, internal collaboration, and external communication with partners and audiences.
- Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Given the fast-paced nature of social media, a willingness to stay updated on trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies is crucial.
- Trend Awareness & Adaptability: Staying current with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms is vital for effective strategy development and execution.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders effectively
