This is a US-based remote (PST hours) position that will start at a 10 month engagement and could extent up to 18 months.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be immersed in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a team of experts to design, develop, test, and maintain critical systems and applications. Your work will directly impact the operational efficiency and reliability of the company’s device ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, working with cloud-native services, data platforms, and AI-integrated solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Modify existing databases and API systems to enhance functionality and performance.
- Design and implement logical and physical database descriptions, ensuring seamless integration with management systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, limitations, and database development strategies.
- Analyze user needs and estimate project timelines and costs, contributing to effective project planning.
Must-Haves:
- 8+ years of experience in software development, demonstrating a strong understanding of software engineering principles.
- Extensive knowledge of Azure services, including App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, and DevOps.
- Proven expertise in C# programming and API development, with a focus on building robust and scalable solutions.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Mentoring skills to guide and support team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and deployment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and implementing system changes, ensuring system stability and reliability.
- Solid foundation in computer hardware and software fundamentals, providing a comprehensive understanding of technology stacks.
- Experience with development tools and languages such as SQL and Visual Basic, broadening your technical skillset.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI services and prompt engineering, enabling you to leverage AI capabilities in enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting live production systems, including incident management, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with best practices for system reliability, alerting, telemetry, and live site engineering.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $61 to $68 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
