This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in planning, executing, and optimizing omnichannel advertising campaigns. You’ll be the strategic mind behind the media, crafting data-driven proposals and guiding clients toward their marketing objectives. Your deep understanding of various media types, from paid search and programmatic display to social media and experiential tactics, will be instrumental in achieving client success. Collaborate with internal and external partners, lead performance analysis, and identify new revenue streams. This role offers a unique blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution, allowing you to shape the future of digital advertising.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute strategic media plans for both managed and self-service campaigns, serving as the consultative expert for clients.
- Provide expert guidance on media planning, audience strategy, and platform activation to internal teams.
- Lead client and agency calls, showcasing your expertise in media tactics, audience strategy, campaign stewardship, and ad serving platforms.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of various media types, including paid search, programmatic display, direct digital sponsorships, connected TV (CTV), social media, digital out-of-home (OOH), and experiential in-store tactics.
- Apply your knowledge of the purchase funnel to develop strategies that align with client objectives, spanning awareness, consideration, and conversion.
- Collaborate with Sales & Account Management teams to create data-driven media proposals.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that impact both the Campaign Management organization and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate campaign performance metrics, insights, and optimization recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify incremental revenue opportunities based on campaign performance, testing, and seasonal programming.
- Partner with Media Insights teams on campaign measurement and analysis.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and adhere to best practices throughout the campaign lifecycle, from pre-sale to post-sale.
- Ensure seamless campaign launches by adhering to internal SLAs and QA processes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external teams through exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to traffic campaigns across various ad technology environments.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in bid management, campaign management/optimization, or digital media operations within paid search, programmatic display, publisher display media, network media buys, and/or social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital media metrics (CPM, ROAS, CPC, CTR, New Buyer, etc.) and the ability to analyze media math to inform optimizations.
- Client-facing experience with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving risks.
- Eagerness to learn new ad platforms and media tactics with critical thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment and navigate ambiguous situations.
- Self-starter with a proactive and action-oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide expert advice on media best practices and identify opportunities.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Understanding of traditional and interactive media planning elements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs: Excel (pivot tables, data/number analysis), PowerPoint (deck creation, visual storytelling), Word, Outlook.
Nice-to-Haves:
- 3+ years’ experience managing and/or consulting on digital campaigns across display, video, social, search, and experiential marketing.
- Extensive experience and expertise in programmatic advertising, including knowledge of DSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges.
- Proven track record of developing strategies that influence advertiser investment in media/advertising.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47.52 to $52.80 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
