This is a US-based remote position. It will start as a 10 month contract that could extend up to 18 months.

As a Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of gaming by providing key data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. Your analytical prowess will directly impact subscriber engagement and growth, influencing key business decisions.

  • Dive deep into the world of gaming subscriptions, analyzing performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Support business analysis of service-level engagement through month-end actualization and roll-forward of files.
  • Refresh and update monthly key reports, scorecards, and slides in collaboration with the team.
  • Maintain and enhance advanced financial models, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide variance to forecast analysis across all relevant business metrics (SKU, platform, publisher, title-level).
  • Support ad-hoc analyses and deliverables as requested, providing data-driven insights to the broader team.
  • Document business processes and deliverables, ensuring clarity and efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 3- 5 years experience with Highly advanced in Excel modeling, data analysis, with some work in PowerBI.
  • 5+ years experience with FP&A, business analyst, or finance analyst with extensive experience in storytelling of insights.
  • 5 years experience working with and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholder.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, very strong attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, advanced modeling, and significant experience with data modeling and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, virtually, and in a matrixed team.
     

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with subscription services and/or the gaming industry.
  • Familiarity with the gaming industry—business models, popular titles, and current trends.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35 to $40 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
