About the Role:
As a market analyst, you’ll be the go-to expert for customer and competitive research intelligence within the software business and market strategy team. Your focus will be on uncovering valuable insights from the client’s internal data sources, collaborating with various teams, and transforming complex data into concise, actionable reports. You will play a critical role in informing the software’s strategy by connecting the dots between internal research and market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and maintain a pulse on internal data sources related to customer and competitive intelligence.
- Regularly connect with teams conducting relevant research (e.g., R&I, CXP).
- Analyze internal reports and distill key strategic insights.
- Create succinct reports summarizing key findings for the team.
- Actively participate in weekly team think time discussions.
- Support larger strategic projects with desk research.
- Assist in preparing market updates for leadership.
- Draft key deliverables for executive communications.
- Help establish and maintain a robust team rhythm of business, including agenda management and tracking open items.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with Cloud and AI, particularly with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- 8+ years of demonstrated strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- 8+ years of extensive experience in the cloud technology space.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Exceptional writing skills, emphasizing conciseness and clarity.
- Strategic thinking abilities, connecting insights to tell a compelling story.
- Strong analytical skills, enabling in-depth data analysis and meaningful conclusions.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Marketing experience
- Experience working at Microsoft, Google, and/or Amazon.
Compensation:
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $64.91 to $72.13 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
