From equipment specification and procurement to validation and launch, you’ll oversee the entire process, ensuring safety, quality, and optimal efficiency. What You’ll Do:
- Spearhead the specification, procurement, validation, installation, pre-production trials, and launch of battery production lines.
- Drive battery manufacturing trials to confirm equipment safety, quality, operational availability, and overall efficiency.
- Provide direct support to fellow engineers in the construction and installation of battery equipment.
- Actively participate in cross-functional working groups, collaborating with local and corporate teams to achieve project goals.
- Demonstrate adaptability by quickly learning new processes as required.
- Lead and organize cross-functional activities across company divisions with minimal management oversight.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or a similar technical field, or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in production preparation for manufacturing and execution of capital projects, ideally from initial planning to production start.
- Experience in creating and implementing processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in detailed schedule creation and utilization on capital projects for new or modified equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, including the ability to read, interpret, and modify 2D drawings.
- Flexibility to work weekends and shutdown periods (such as July and December holidays) as needed.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $44.11 to $49.02 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
