This is your chance to make a real difference in the retail landscape. NOTE: this role is 100% onsite, 5 days/week in Bentonville, Arkansas. Relocation assistance will be provided. 

Responsibilities:

Lead user discovery efforts, analyzing user behavior and identifying opportunities to enhance user experiences.
Collaborate with internal and external partners, influencing technical outcomes and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Conduct thorough design research, proposing hypotheses, analyzing data, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
Influence stakeholders, building consensus and effectively communicating design strategies.
Champion customer needs, creating user journey touchpoints and anticipating product enhancements.
Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
Develop detailed design specifications, including process flows, site maps, wireframes, and functional specifications.
Create high-fidelity prototypes and technical proofs of concept using various technologies.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
Strong skills in interaction design and information architecture.
Experience with usability testing and user research methods.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Design certification (e.g., IDEO – Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).
Experience driving product development in a user experience area.
Master’s degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or a related area.
Related industry experience (e.g., retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare).
Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
