As a Desktop Technician, you will be immersed in a challenging yet rewarding environment, working closely with a global team to ensure seamless technology operations. Your expertise will be essential in resolving technical issues, supporting critical systems, and empowering colleagues with efficient technology solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with global IT colleagues to diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate technical challenges.
- Contribute to various IT projects, including security and audit initiatives.
- Create and maintain support documentation within the ServiceNow knowledge base.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows within the IT support department.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent production issues.
- Promote and train colleagues on new technologies and tools.
Must-Haves:
- Associate’s degree in a technology discipline (computer science, cybersecurity, network engineering), business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, MCDST, CCNA, etc.) are a plus.
- Minimum of three years of experience supporting global infrastructure in a multinational organization.
- Proven experience troubleshooting hardware, desktop applications, cloud applications, middleware, Office 365, and related security protocols.
- Experience supporting systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow and remote administration tools (RDP, Teams, etc.).
- Expertise in desktop operating system and application troubleshooting (Windows 11, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive, etc.).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $19.69 to $21.88 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
