As a Content Specialist, you will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with talented individuals to refine and elevate the content shared on our platforms. Responsibilities:

• Craft, edit, and review diverse content, from creative copy to informative text, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Conduct in-depth analyses and generate insightful reports that inform strategic decision-making for our partners.
• Apply review guidelines meticulously to maintain content quality and uphold platform standards.
• Collaborate closely with content and product teams to enhance user experience and optimize content effectiveness.
• Maintain flexibility to work extended hours as needed to support project deadlines and critical initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in journalism, digital content strategy, or related fields.
• Demonstrated expertise in editorial judgment, particularly around sensitive topics such as politics, bias, gender, and religion.
• Impeccable writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet applications (e.g., Google Sheets, MS Excel) or other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AP Style.
• Ability to perform basic data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with audio or video content creation and editing.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Prior experience in prompt engineering or annotation.
• Managerial experience.
• Background in visual media (photo editing, video production) or creative writing.
• Deep understanding of the social media landscape.
• Experience with system prompting or prompt engineering.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50.85 to $56.50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
