We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team on a freelance basis. This role involves editing a variety of video content for both internal and external audiences, including brand videos, tutorials, interviews, and event recaps. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to work collaboratively while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into polished, professional videos tailored for diverse audiences and platforms.

  • Work on projects such as brand videos, interviews, tutorials, ads, and event recaps.

  • Collaborate with producers, creatives, writers, and other stakeholders to meet project goals and timelines.

  • Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, text overlays, music, and sound design as needed.

  • Maintain organized and well-documented project files.

  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains high quality standards.

  • Optimize videos for various formats and channels, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools.

  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet tight deadlines.

  • Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and various encoding formats.

Sample Projects:

  • “Ask” Series: 12+ short videos (30 seconds to 3 minutes each), completed in Q3 and distributed across multiple platforms including YouTube.

  • “Trend Talks”: One long-form video (10–30 minutes), produced in Q4 and used across various channels.

  • Conference & Event Coverage

  • Webinar Pre/Post-Event Content

Estimated Time Commitment:

  • Q3: ~15 hours

  • Q4: ~32 hours
