As a Narrative Insights Specialist, you’ll transform data into compelling narratives, shaping how we understand music trends and culture. Partnering with a collaborative team, you’ll leverage your expertise to craft impactful stories that resonate with internal and external audiences, influencing strategic decisions and communications.

This is your opportunity to make a significant impact on how music trends are understood and communicated. As a key member of the Content Business Management team, you will bridge the gap between raw data and engaging narratives, informing both internal strategies and public perception. Your insights will directly influence how the company understands and interacts with the evolving music landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including PR, to analyze data, interpret trends, and shape narratives for internal and external communications.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis using diverse datasets and methodologies to understand current trends in the music industry.
  • Transform complex data into compelling and accessible stories through insightful writing and editorial judgment.
  • Adapt data insights into various formats, including articles, briefs, and reports, to effectively communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Support various teams by validating insights across different regions and musical genres.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in data journalism, editorial writing, or PR, with a strong focus on storytelling driven by data insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing and editing, combined with sharp editorial instincts and judgment regarding story selection and framing.
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets and the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex findings.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools and languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
  • A deep understanding of the music landscape across various genres and cultural trends.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $63.49 to $70.54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
