This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the UX vision and strategy for member benefits, onboarding, and retention, collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams. Your expertise in crafting user-centered designs will directly impact member satisfaction and drive business growth. What You’ll Do:

Spearhead the UX strategy for member benefits, onboarding, and retention, prioritizing value, simplicity, and emotional connection.
Define and champion the long-term design vision, collaborating with cross-functional leadership.
Shape and support high-impact seasonal membership campaigns.
Drive a design approach grounded in data, storytelling, and experimentation, aligning business goals with user needs.
Integrate AI-driven thinking into conceptual exploration, toolchains, and developer collaboration.
Design compelling user journeys that encourage non-members to join the program.
Leverage interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills to articulate and validate ideas.
Utilize AI-augmented workflows to enhance the creative process and bridge design with code.
Proactively identify and resolve pain points in the member experience, designing intuitive solutions.
Incorporate motion, animation, and storytelling to create immersive experiences.
Build and contribute to scalable design systems that reflect brand values.
Conduct and oversee user research, translating insights into actionable strategies.
Lead usability testing and iterative prototyping to validate design concepts.
Serve as a trusted design partner to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Champion a customer-first mindset while balancing speed, innovation, and quality.
Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, fostering a culture of craft, curiosity, and inclusion.

Must-Haves:

8+ years of UX design experience with 3+ years in a design leadership role.
Strong portfolio showcasing impactful end-to-end user experiences, onboarding flows, and complex interaction systems.
Mastery of Figma and advanced prototyping/animation tools (e.g., Protopie, Jitter, After Effects, Lottie).
Exceptional presentation design and storytelling skills with strong verbal articulation.
Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Proven ability to synthesize data into actionable strategies.
Experience managing and growing high-performing design teams.
Ability to influence at all levels through storytelling, data, and collaboration.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience working on membership-based products or loyalty programs.
Background in eCommerce or omnichannel retail environments.
Familiarity with global design and localization challenges.
Design certification (e.g., IDEO – Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).
Master’s degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.
Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 AA standards.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $190,000.00-$195,000.00.
Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
