Senior UX Designer

Overview

The Senior UX Designer will help transform complex workflows and information into easy-to-use experience design. The Senior UX Designer will use their knowledge of the Design Thinking process to collaborate with partner teams, facilitate conversations, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to leverage collective creativity. Will be responsible for creating and championing highly usable experience and bringing the highest level of craft to the work. NOTE: this role is 100% onsite, 5 days/week in Bentonville, Arkansas. Relocation assistance will be provided. 

Responsibilities: 

• Designing best-in-class product experiences with a focus on craft.
• Partnering with design research, product managers, and engineers to create insightful design solutions.
• Constantly balancing business goals with user needs.
• Rapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment.
• Multitasking across different projects and adapting to changing priorities.
• Creating scalable experiences in partnership with the Design System team.
• Championing the Design Thinking philosophy throughout the business.

Requirements:

* An outstanding portfolio of elegant design solutions and case studies.

* A strategic mindset and a systems thinking approach to taking the complex and making it simple.
* Ability to articulate design rationale and influence decision-making with multiple stakeholders.
* A strong point of view and an effective champion for design and inclusive experiences.
* A track record working cross-functionally and shipping successful ecommerce products.
* Ability to produce great work in short timeframes and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business.
* A strong understanding of Design Thinking principles and practices.
* Experience with Design Sprints and Customer Journey Mapping.
* The ability to see problems from various angles and create well-rounded solutions.

MUST-HAVES: 

5+ years of experience in UX design.
