About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Digital Asset Project Manager to join our growing e-commerce team. This role combines project management expertise with technical proficiency in Adobe Photoshop to oversee the backend processes that support our product catalog. You’ll work closely with external vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless file management and quality control for digital assets.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
- Manage multiple vendor relationships and project timelines simultaneously
- Maintain detailed project status records and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders
- Coordinate file handoffs between vendors and internal teams
- Create and implement quality control processes for digital asset workflows
Technical File Management
- Review and analyze Excel files for accuracy, quality, and adherence to established guidelines
- Edit and adjust PSD files based on detailed technical requirements
- Create new PSD files when necessary, ensuring alignment with brand standards and technical specifications
- Troubleshoot file compatibility issues, layer organization, resolution problems, and other technical challenges
Vendor Relations & Quality Assurance
- Work directly with external vendors to provide constructive feedback and clarify project guidelines
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality expectations and technical requirements
- Develop and maintain vendor communication protocols and feedback systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues and document reproduction steps
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including expert knowledge of layers, masks, smart objects, and color correction
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to work with PSD files in backend interface environments
Project Management Skills
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and vendor relationships simultaneously
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to maintain structured file systems
- Strong attention to detail with capability to follow complex guidelines and identify inconsistencies
Communication & Collaboration
- Experience providing feedback to external vendors and managing expectations
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and creative teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder updates
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with additional Adobe Creative Suite tools (Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience in e-commerce, product imagery, or digital asset management
- Background in creative operations or production environments
- Knowledge of digital asset management systems and workflows
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $43/HR. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
