Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a Communications Manager!

This is a hyrid position.  It will be expected that you work in the office 3 days/week.  For this reason, we will only consider candidates who curreently live in the following cities:

  • Wellesley, MA
  • Boston, MA
  • New York, NY

In addition, to be considerd you must:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.  C2C is not permitted for this role

As an Internal Communications Manager, you will be the voice of a cutting-edge team within the larger organization. Your creativity and strategic thinking will ensure that teams are informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals. You will develop and execute internal communications strategies, craft compelling content, manage key communication channels, and ensure cultural alignment across the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic internal communications programs that build awareness of the team’s brand, business, and product strategy within the team and the broader organization.
  • Create a standardized narrative that connects all communications internally and externally with the larger enterprise.
  • Partner with Marketing and subject matter experts to translate complex product and business information into impactful internal communications through various channels.
  • Drive the communications strategy, narrative, agenda, and follow-ups for monthly all-team meetings, quarterly All Hands meetings, and leadership Q&As.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant internal communications.
  • Modernize the team’s intranet site to maximize employee usage and value.
  • Develop and publish a monthly internal newsletter to keep team members informed on key launches, milestones, and team updates.
  • Embody and champion the team’s culture and voice in all internal communications.
  • Efficiently manage the planning and execution of internal communications programs.
  • Operate with autonomy to build the internal communications capability, influencing teams and challenging existing processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team, sales, product, and product marketing teams to ensure clarity of communications.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of internal, employee, and executive communications experience (copywriting and editing) within adtech, martech, media, or retail technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in employee engagement and change management.
  • 3+ years of cross-functional leadership experience.
  • Experience collaborating with sales, product teams, partnership leads, marketing colleagues, and senior executives.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise with intranet management and email marketing software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize and articulate complex topics.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70.03 – $76.03 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
