We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will:
- Leverage your financial acumen and auditing expertise to ensure the financial health and regulatory adherence of various healthcare entities.
- Provide essential oversight that underpins the stability and success of critical healthcare services.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute comprehensive financial audits and analyses for specialty health plans and vendors on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial solvency and claims processing compliance reports, adhering to regulatory and contractual requirements for plan partners, provider groups, and healthcare entities.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of standardized audit workpapers and reporting templates to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Support the formalization of key internal processes and monitoring tools, contributing to robust operational frameworks.
- Review and update departmental policies and procedures annually, ensuring they align with current standards and are approved by management.
- Manage requests from legal departments and support delegation oversight monitoring and reporting activities.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration with interdepartmental personnel, leadership, specialty health plans, and vendors.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and reporting of special projects, leveraging your subject matter expertise.
- Assist in the design and implementation of tools and reports for issuing corrective action plans and non-compliance notifications.
- Collaborate on assessing, communicating, and implementing new regulatory requirements that impact internal processes.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff, and identifying technical solutions to improve business operations.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience conducting financial audits.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience within the managed healthcare industry.
- Proven background in managed care, healthcare, or insurance.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement analysis, financial solvency, and debt/asset analysis.
- Possession of one of the following certifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Action-oriented, self-starter with strong motivational abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Master’s Degree.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
