Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain functional test automation scripts for mobile applications using Appium with Java.
- Ensure continuous automation operation, analyzing and reporting failures promptly.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define environment requirements, identify automation tools, and implement best practices.
- Champion end-to-end testing across multiple applications.
- Partner with distributed teams to shape future QA tooling and technology decisions.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate project plans, testing schedules, and metrics reporting.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 2+ years in Mobile Application Development
- 2-4 years of experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks
- 4+ years of experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts
- Experience with XCUI and/or Espresso
- Hands-on coding experience with Java, Kotlin, SWIFT, or other object-oriented programming languages
- Working knowledge of industry-standard tools for logging bugs and managing test cases (e.g., JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HPQ)
- Proven ability to successfully balance and deliver multiple geographically distributed QA projects with concurrent releases
- Solid understanding of Mobile Development on iOS and/or Android devices
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and Lean DevOps methodologies
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.99 to $43.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
