Shape the future of security! We’re seeking a talented Content Designer to join a team revolutionizing how users interact with security products. You’ll be crafting intuitive and engaging content experiences that empower millions of customers to navigate complex security challenges with ease and confidence. As a key member of this innovative team, you’ll collaborate with designers, researchers, and product managers to define how content seamlessly integrates with visuals and interaction flows. This role goes beyond UI copywriting; it encompasses conceptual analysis, terminology management, user research, and the development of content experience guidelines. You’ll be a driving force in shaping the future of security product experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver content for a range of security products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive user experiences.
- Define key terminology and facilitate vetting processes to maintain consistency and clarity across all product interfaces.
- Design clear, concise, and user-friendly content for UI elements, working closely with product designers to create seamless workflows.
- Collaborate with documentation writers to ensure a unified content experience between the product interface and supporting documentation.
- Develop and maintain content experience guidelines that inform and elevate the quality of security product content.
- Conduct user research to validate design decisions and gather insights, ensuring that content effectively addresses user needs and pain points.
- Manage projects, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of content deliverables.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, or a related field.
- Foundational study in UX Design, Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Informatics, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft 365, design software (e.g., Figma), and AI-powered writing tools.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience or training in Design Thinking methodology.
- Experience working with design systems.
- Experience in the security or cybersecurity field.
- Familiarity with accessibility requirements and best practices.
- Versatility in writing for various platforms, audiences, and subject matter.
- Strong creative collaboration and problem-solving skills.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.40 to $50.45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
