As a Program/Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a portfolio of physical security technology projects, managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships. You will also be responsible for reviewing and negotiating various contracts, ensuring compliance, and mitigating project risks. Your ability to navigate complex projects and contractual agreements will be essential to the company’s success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a portfolio of physical security technology capital projects ranging from $10K to $1M.
  • Mitigate project risks and communicate potential issues to stakeholders.
  • Review engineering plans to ensure alignment with security standards and project goals.
  • Communicate regularly with project teams and vendors to coordinate activities and ensure progress.
  • Provide regular project status updates and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
  • Ensure construction activities adhere to established schedules and budgets.
  • Track and document project accounting and financial performance.
  • Develop project charters, outlining business cases, budgets, schedules, and requirements.
  • Conduct field job walks and facilitate project status meetings.
  • Review vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Promote and maintain project safety in accordance with company standards.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including online advertising insertion orders, consulting agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Interpret and draft contractual language, incorporating legal and business concepts.
  • Maintain a working understanding of company functions, products, and services.
  • Analyze contracts, conduct research, and respond to complex inquiries regarding contract provisions.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and directives within contractual documents.
  • Review contracts for acceptable terms and negotiate changes as needed.
  • Determine whether contract requests require additional authorization and direct colleagues accordingly.
  • Monitor contract expirations and pursue renewals when appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and integrate complex negotiation terms.
  • Upload signed agreements to the contract management system.
  • Handle legal-related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of contract management experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in developing project schedules using MS Project.
  • Experience managing project budgets and developing financial forecasts.
  • Ability to interpret electrical single-line and logic diagrams.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing)​ drawings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with OSHA safety regulations.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.97 to $51.08 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
