Please note this is a hybrid role in Cupertino, CA. You must be able to work 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday).
Become an integral part of a leading technology company’s dynamic Hardware Engineering and Hardware Technologies team as their Internal Communications Specialist! You’ll be the voice that connects and inspires, crafting impactful communications that keep employees informed and engaged. As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that resonate with the Hardware Engineering and Hardware Technologies teams. Your creativity will shine as you create compelling presentations, articles, and web content, translating complex technical information into easily digestible narratives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Hardware Development, PR, and Marketing, to drive university engagement initiatives. Leverage your design skills in Keynote, and potentially Illustrator and Photoshop, to produce visually stunning storytelling materials.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies for Hardware Engineering and Hardware Technologies teams.
- Create engaging content, including presentations, written materials, and web content, aligned with organizational goals.
- Partner with Hardware Development, PR, and Marketing on university engagement initiatives.
- Translate complex technical topics into clear, concise communications for internal audiences.
- Design visually compelling storytelling materials using Keynote and other design tools.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications within a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in communication strategy, content creation, and storytelling, with a proven ability to simplify complex information.
- Excellent writing and design skills, particularly in presentation development.
- Proficiency in Keynote.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- General understanding of technology and enthusiasm for working with technical content.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54.36 to $60.41 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
