This is a hybrid role in Redmond.
Pay Range: $38/hr – $42/hr​

Our client is a leader in the gaming space. The IT Systemss Administrator will design, implement, and manage infrastructure deployments using IaC tools, monitoring system health, responding to incidents, and collaborating with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and stability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, optimize, maintain, proactively troubleshoot, and continually improve a variety of Azure and on-premises infrastructure and services using IaC.
  • Conduct routine maintenance for on-premises and Azure infrastructure identifying and recommending areas for process automation.
  • Handle escalations for core infrastructure involving troubleshooting of vague problem spaces across a variety of systems.
  • Automate Azure and on-premises infrastructure deployments using tools and languages including Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Terraform, PowerShell, SQL, Bash, and Git.
  • Develop Terraform modules
  • Identify and create monitoring for key metrics to support the reliability of core on-premises and Azure infrastructure.
  • Regularly write clear and concise documentation for infrastructure, services, and application deployments.
  • Create secure solutions in all areas of contribution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and post-mortems.
  • Participate in and serve as escalation point in a 24/7 on call rotation.
  • *NOTE: Role includes on-call hours on a rotating basis with other team members.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, systems administration, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure, troubleshooting production issues, and optimizing system performance.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications.

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is  $38/hr – $42/hr.
